Tapebid

Terms of use

Draft. The parts in [brackets] and the whole text need the owner's review before the app goes public.

Last updated: [date]

These terms are between you and [legal name of the company] ("we"). They cover the Tapebid app and the pages at tapebid.com. By using them you agree to these terms.

What Tapebid does

Tapebid helps contractors measure rooms, work out quantities and prices from their own rates, and make estimates that their customers can open and sign from a link. Tapebid does not process payments between a contractor and a customer.

Your account

The app works without an account until you send an estimate. Keep access to your sign-in email or provider safe; you are responsible for what is done from your account.

Your estimates are yours

Signatures

Tapebid records who signed, which option, when and from where, and stamps the signature into the estimate. Whether a signed estimate is a binding contract depends on what it says and on the law where you work. Tapebid is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

Subscription

Fair use

Do not use Tapebid to break the law, to mislead customers, to send messages people did not ask for, or to try to get into other people's accounts or our systems.

Availability

We work to keep Tapebid running and your information safe, but the service is provided as it is. Most of the app works without a connection; sending, signing in a browser, voice and sign-in need one.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses arising from the use of Tapebid, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Tapebid and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of [state or country], without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
